Advocacy bodies

The youth council, the council for senior citizens and the council for the disabled serve as the advocacy bodies for the municipality of Inari.

Advocacy bodies are participation and influence channels for the groups they represent and convey the group's views and opinions to decision-making. Advocacy bodies must be given an opportunity to influence the planning, preparation and monitoring of activities in different municipal sectors in matters relevant to the well-being, health, inclusion and living environment of the group they represent.
