Surplus food distribution

The municipality of Inari distributes surplus food. The food distributed is leftover lunch food (hot meal and salad) from the distribution points of the Food Service unit in the Ivalo area. The amount of food distributed varies daily. Therefore, it is possible that food will not be available for distribution every day or that there will not be enough for all applicants.

Distribution takes place on weekdays at the Inclusion Center around 12:15 - 13:00. The food applicant must bring their own container. One portion of food is distributed per applicant (considering families). Surplus food is not distributed during school holidays. The food distribution follows the guidelines of Evira and the COVID-19 regulations of THL.
