Resident survey on the social impacts of tourism in Inari is now open until 29th April 2025

Municipality of Inari aims to develop responsible year-round tourism in the area. The social impacts of tourism refer to the effects on local residents, their living environments, health, culture, and communities. Through this survey, we are mapping the effects and experiences of tourism for local residents and communities, as well as their wishes for the development of more responsible tourism in the area.

This survey follows up on the discussion about responsible and regenerative tourism that began at the Spirit of Inari 2024 tourism seminar. The results of the survey will be used in municipal decision-making and tourism development projects. The Municipality of Inari will publish the results of the resident survey.
